課程概述 |
In this class we will practice a number of listening skills, with special emphasis on how to understand academic lectures and take notes. We will also contemplate as we hear the lectures how to effectively present our ideas, how to learn English and other subjects more effectively, and how to respond to lectures in an intelligent manner. |

課程目標 |
The instructor hopes to not only enhance your English listening ability, especially acquainting you with academic speech, but also to teach you a number of skills that will be helpful to your studies, regardless of the language of access. |
|
課程要求 |
You are expected to attend class faithfully and take part in class discussions (30% of your final grade), take both a midterm (30%) and a final exam (30%), and give a short oral presentation (10%). |
